HELP REBUILD LIVES OF 68 CHILDREN OF SRAVASTI DISTT UTTER PRADESH

Introduction

 

 

Since its inception BORISU SESANG FOUNDATION has been working in the field of education. Our education scholarship program was commenced understanding the need to support children and families of SRAVASTI DISTT UTTER PRADESH. Through this project we strive to break the barriers towards acquisition of education for the deprived & underprivileged section. 

BORISU SESANG FOUNDATION EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

 

 

In the past many years our rural people has witnessed the most illiteracy poverty backwardness, costing the lives of many innocents. Time and again we have shown our spirits of togetherness and helped each other during such challenging stages. However, families of these illiteracy poverty backwardness were shattered with the sudden financial responsibilities. And in such situations it is undeniable that the children’s education takes a back step, further impacting their future.

 

Identifying the post illiteracy poverty backwardness impact on these little ones, BORISU SESANG FOUNDATION started Education Scholarship Program to support their education. The first set of scholarships was provided to the children of sravasti  which took place on April 05, 2016. Till date this project has successfully covered 68 children.

 

The Need

 

 

BORISU SESANG FOUNDATION works to provide a fair chance to every child of this project, especially to the most deprived. Therefore, with proper monitoring the progress of these children, we decide to further support 68 children out of the 200 who are still in the process of completing their education and require guidance.

 

Each child requires 20,000 (INR) to complete their academic year. Commit yourself to support these children! Your contribution will help change the future of the children.


NEPAL EARTHQUAKE RELIEF PROJECT

 

 “Could you please give us something to wear? Something warm preferably.

 

We never imagined that we would ever have to ask for such basic necessities. Yesterday we slept in the warm comfort of our cozy homes and here we are today huddling together in makeshift tents trying to keep our selves warm.

 

Today our sustenance is dependent on the kindness shown by people like you. Thank you for reminding us that only humanity stands tall in times of dire need.”

 

Friends, given all the hardships they had to go through, the weather has not at all been on the side of the Nepal Earthquake victims. The elements showed no mercy to the homeless masses as thunderstorms rumbled over Taple, Gorkha Distt, Nepal. More bad weather is forecasted for the region in the coming days.

 

We at BORISU SESANG FOUNDATION have given………………….Garments, ………………….. packets of sing/ chana as food packets, ………… Blankets and ………. cartons of biscuits………..Tent.  Local NGO and Local Support Network  in Nepal was personally involved in distributing all aid materials to victims in Nepal to ensure proper last mile delivery.
